Nomads Rugby Football Club
On Saturday, March 16th, 2019 the Toronto Nomads hosted Buffalo Rugby Club for (2) preseason matches on a chilly March day that had snow flurries and wind gusts followed by some brief sunshine. The Nomads not only offered two competitive matches, but also rented a top notch facility for the day. After the matches, Hemingway's hosted the post match festivities. On a day filled with good sportsmanship, new rivalries and friendships between our two great clubs we were saddened to hear the devastating news of the loss of one of the Nomads true great club members, Lloyd Dobson. By all accounts, Lloyd was a loyal supporter and friend to all in the club. A few of us were lucky enough to share a drink with him after the match Saturday and you could sense the immense pride he had for his club. We are saddened to hear the news and offer our deepest condolences to the Toronto Nomads and to Lloyd's family. The entire Buffalo Rugby Club community is with you, Nomads.
