Following an exciting display of flag rugby by the Buffalo Rugby Club Youth and Kenmore Youth programs, the BRC D2 side put on a show for alumni, family, and friends. Just a week after a big loss in Detroit versus the Tradesmen, the BRC D2 side bounced back with a 66-7 win over Upstate rivals, the Syracuse Chargers. BRC started fast, scoring a try in the first minute of play. The team continued to dominate on offense and defense and were up 33-7 at the half. During the half time, the message was stay with the game plan and structure on offense and increase the line speed and tackle lower on defense. The boys responded shutting out Syracuse and scoring 33 more points including 4 tries by reserves who provided fresh legs.
The final score of 66-7 gave BRC a bonus point win and a two game lead in the Upstate D2 league with four games to play.
